FutureGirl gör bland annat underbara väskor och signerar dem med handsydda etiketter. Hennes Starling Handbag, som det går att få gratis mönster till på Ravelry, är helt underbar i sin enkelhet och ännu roligare när man gör den personlig med sina egna små tillägg.
Hon virkar, hon broderar, hon syr. Men hon stickar inte. Det finns inte hur mycket tid som helst, menar hon, I only have so much time. Bra att tänka på.
One of the first blogs I started to monitor is FutureGirl, a fantastic source of inspiration. FutureGirl's blog is in fact the one that taught me how smart to redo things, and redo them again, because then they will turn out pretty well in the end.
Future Girl makes the most beautiful bags, and she signs them with hand-sewn labels. Her Starling Handbag, to which you may get the free pattern through Ravelry, is just adoring in its simplicity, and it's even more fun when you personalise it with your own small additions and adjustments.
FutureGirl is crocheting, she embroiders, she sews. But she does not knit. I only have so much time, she says. Good to think about for the rest of us too.
