Blue jeans bag by Agnes

Agnes has been thinking of a bag for some time now. And last weekend we took some time to finally get around to it.

Now the bag is in New York with us and it fits in well with the city, I reckon.

The bag is lined with a multi-coloured fabric that I bought in the 90s.

Leftovers: Dishcloth and mobile cozy

With leftovers from the blue wrap I made a knitted dishcloth...

...and an iPhone cozy, in Tunisian crochet. I was inspred by Gudrun's blog post from yesterday, look here if you read Swedish.

I put it together with a white crocheted edge.

Wrap

One dark blue wrap finished. Linen-cotton. Should I send it to the final destination before winter is over? It works fine during spring and summer too, but easter is far away.

Vante-vante

Vante-vante, originally uploaded by Maia Andréasson.
Dear Sis lost her mittens (vantar) on the train, so she just had to grab the crochet needle while spending time at my place this weekend. Pattern here. Turning her back at the Swedish second chance of Melodifestivalen (Eurovision song contest) she crocheted along, grumping and complaining about not being able to make it. Which she of course did, with excellence. As always. And she pimped them with a brodery. I think of leaving all my projects to her for pimping. She's the Pimpernel!

Crocheted flowers

I spent the evening crocheting some small flowers for broches (is that even an English word?) or maybe rings.

The smallest one my daughter wants for a ring.
